Alternatives to Abortion is a state-funded program available to women who are residents of Missouri. You may utilize the services through pregnancy, up until your child is one year old. These resources are available completely free of charge to those who are eligible.
What services does this program offer?
The Alternatives to Abortion program offers a number of resources related to pregnancy, parenting and adoption:

- Drug and alcohol testing and treatment
- Educational services
- Establishing and promoting responsible paternity
- Food, clothing and supplies related to pregnancy, newborn care and parenting

- Ultrasound services
How do I know if I’m eligible?
These services are available to women who are Missouri residents, who are not choosing to have an abortion, and who are at or below 185 percent of federal poverty level. This is determined by the exemption status of your federal income tax filing.
